Teggs Nose Trail Race

The first Teggs Nose Trail 5k was very successful, with a good turnout despite wet and windy conditions.  The race itself raised £350, and Malcolm also received a very generous donation of £50 after the event.  Wilmslow Running Club will therefore be able to give a cheque for £400 to East Cheshire Hospice.

Overall winner was Damian Nicholls, in a time of 15:59.  First lady was Jane Clark in 20:03.  Full results are below (click on ‘Continue reading..’)

    I really enjoyed the Teggs nose fell race. I could relax knowing that I had run 5K whilst my friends were in the pub and after all its not the winning its the taking part that counts. It would be a lovely race for the summer and perhaps make it 10K
