Despite being a resident of Macclesfield and being the co-founder of the original Macclesfield Half Marathon , Big Malc was notable by his absence this year .
Despite being a toughened fell runner the hills of Macclesfield were too much and Malcolm opted for a faster and flatter course : The Scotia Toronto Waterfont half Marathon .
Malcolm finished 17th and 3rd V40 in a time of 74.56.
