Sadly we had to pull our teams from the North-West Road Relays as we were no closer to having a confirmed team for either men or ladies on Fiday night . It would have been unfair to those who were going not to give some advance notice to allow for them to make alternative plans .
To prevent ourselves having similar problems in the future , some dates for planning purposes :
Saturday 29th September : NOE Road Relays at Birchwood Warrington : Six men and four ladies.
Saturday 6th October : Manchester Univ XC Relays : Entry tbc based upon response.
A separate note will be sent about Manchester XC League dates . We are sure to have an exciting winter following the mens success of last year and the emergence of the ladies team . As a club now with a degree of expectation we have to work hard to match our achievements of last winter : Onwards and upwards !
Once you have checked your own diaries , please could you let me know about your availability should you wish to be considered for the NOE RR or if we are to consider entering a team for the Mcr U XC Relays . Ladies to reply to Dr Kate please .
