Gawsworth 10k

27 Wilmslow runners took on the Gawsworth ’10k’ challenge, on a mild morning with occasional bursts of sun.  After a thankfully brief speech from Nicholas Winterton, the field took to country lanes, tow path, a railway bridge, woodland trails with roots, and then back onto fields, passing the 10k marker set up, with complete disregard for convention, about 500 m from the finish.  An excellent event, well organised and marshalled.

Winner was Andrew Lamont from Macc in 37’47".  Wilmslow results follow.  Full race report and results are on the Gawsworth web-site.  Photos are on the Mick Hall site.
