Due to other committments of one of the race organisers (Andy Smith) of the proposed open cross country event in Frodsham,originally scheduled for 30.12.06, we have regretfully decided to ‘rest’ the event for this year. Andy has taken over as race director for the Shell Four Villages Half Marathon this year and is busy building a new team to run that event; he is therefore unable to devote as much time to the Frodsham cross country event as he feels it merits. It is expected that this situation will ease next year and we can again look to giving the ever popular Frodsham Castle Park cross country event a new lease of life.
