Got a niggling injury?
A good family friend of mine is Wayne Fish, a New Zealander who runs Focus Physio and Rehab at Wilmslow Leisure Centre. He’s a specialist in treating sports injuries and asked me the other day whether more Wilmslow runners would be interested in using his services. Over the past year he has treated myself, Tom and Graham and has certainly helped us all get back on track at various times. I’ve always found his diagnosis correct.
Without wishing to sound like his personal agent he’s well worth a call if you’re looking for some physio (or even just regular massage etc). He is a chartered and state registered physiotherapist with 10 years experience and recently completed his MSc in manipulative physio. He’s also worked with athletes in other sports at a national and international level.
His clinic at Wilmslow leisure centre is open every evening of the week and Saturday mornings. He’s also prepared to give a discount to club members. If you’re interested his number is 07810 874484. He’s also planning to start coming to do some training in the Autumn too.
And before any of you ask I’m not on any commission!! Just thought you might find him useful to know about. He’s always offered timely and professional advice when I’ve had a problem (physical that is!)
