Of the 16 Wilmslow athletes(?) who ran both races, 11 were quicker at Bowdon, although the average difference was only 5 seconds (2 seconds last year).
Not surprisingly the runners who showed the greatest improvement over last month were promising youngsters Tony and Gavin with Roy not far behind.
