Both Nicky and Mick achieved club records with their run at Trafford on Sunday [2nd Sept] with times of 46:47 and 42:20. Congratulations to both of you. Club records updated on Club Info menu.

Ian’s 2:54:35 at Chinley was the slowest time in a Summer Series race. The quickest was Damien, 15:04 at Bowdon in 2010.

Message from Tony: A number of the club records have been established on courses which have now been proved to be short, e.g. Greater Manchester Marathon (380metres short 2009 to 2015) at 8min mile pace this equates to 2mins. Trafford 10k (101metres short) this equates to 22.5 seconds at 6min…

Ian has just published the June newsletter, which is on the Newsletter page (link on the left of the page). He has also compiled the Club All-Time records, and best performances 2005/2006, which can be downloaded here (in Excel format, about 40kB).
