Dear runners,
After a very good evening at the club summer bbq (despite breaking down on the way home and having to walk back to Catriona’s house in the middle of the night!), it has occurred to Mike and I that there are less than 3 weeks to go until our own ENGAGEMENT EXTRAZAGANZA, and we currently have very little idea of how many runners we can expect to attend.
Please could people give us a yes/no/maybe in the next few days, so we can plan accordingly. For people who have not received a paper invitation, the details are as follows….. 11th August, 6pm onwards, rain or shine. Venue: 7 kingsley ave, wilmslow…. off Stanneylands road, opposite lacey green entrance. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, so we recommend walking if you live locally. There are quite a few streets off Sefton drive to park on but they are a bit of a squeeze, or, if you dont mind a bit of a walk, then you can always park at the Carrs and walk up Lacey green (approx 10 mins). Dress code: whatever you feel like! In answer to the generous offers people made at the bbq, we dont require anybody to bring salads etc., but thanks for offering! Partners/ families/ friends/ aquaintances all wlecome, the more the merrier!
