I like Moonraker. I like the variety; road, off-road, uphill, downhill, flat. Some say it’s not scenic but I spend much of the time looking at my feet (today trying to work out why they were moving so slowly).
I also like the fact for the second year running there were few from Group 1 & 2 so Summer series points were on offer. Unlike last year I failed to take advantage; 3 minutes and 26 places down. I understand I won the Vet60 prize, if true it’s a sad reflection on state of old age pensioners in Britain today.
