Shady Oak Tough 10k

This race is traditionally run in freezing horizontal rain.  With beautiful evening sunshine and a big blue sky stretching out over the Goyt valley the organisers must have been close to calling it off.

But the hills were still there and everyone who made it up and down and up and up and up and back down deserved a shady pint and some hard earned Summer Series points.
