Event 31: 15th November 2008
A determined run by Ian produced a big course PB and took him to joint second in the VM60-64 all time list – although still a matter of 3 minutes needed to grab the top spot. Perhaps more importantly for Ian he now has a 45s cushion over Roy who at one time appeared to have the edge over the Bramhall undulations. Surely 45s is enough. Or is it?
Malcolm was caught between last week's long Roaches and anticipation of the Boggart Hole mud and was out sprinted into a rare second place. Young Phil and Steve both placed highly but with a big hole dug in the main drive and deep leaves it wasn't a morning for great times. So how did Ian manage it then? I can feel a stewards enquiry coming on …
