Fast and flat this should be the fastest 10k but for some reason the times didn't seem to reflect that. Three and a half laps on nice paths all inside the park make it a great race for spectators and there is a 3k junior race too.
It was another day at the office for Damian who ran smoothly for his second win of the weekend. I felt something of a return to pre VLM form as I worked through a reasonable field to secure my favourite 4th position and even had a look at 3rd on the last lap. Trevor completed the winning Wilmslow team.
