In light of recent events I just wanted to make you all aware of some Masters events that are coming up next year that I would strongly recommend to you all to have a go at. It's a good opportunity to compete against your age equivalents (I'm afraid for once you youngsters of the club are ruled out). The two impending ones are:-
February 20th 2011 – Northern Vets Athletic Club (NVAC) X country championships – Warrington
March 12th 2011 - British Masters Athletics Federation (BMAF) Open X Country Championships – Perry Barr, Birmingham (The big event)
These are open to men & women age 35 or over & we could really do well with the team awards as it's 3 to count in each age category. Let Nick/Kate know if you fancy it.
