• Diane McVey had already secured the Ladies championship and Sharon Jones the Division 4Championship

61 runners have now qualified, the new names on the T-shirt and mug are Andy Watts and Angela Maziere.

Rob Downs will finish as runner-up to Malcolm but the third place on the podium will be determined on Saturday; Graham MacNeil and Jim Pendrill are level. Then come Tom, Trevor, Andrew and Mike. Graham Taylor has overtaken Allan and Graham Screawn overtaken Robert. Craig has moved ahead of Jeremy and Ian Smallwood ahead of Tony and Paul. Andy Watts comes in at 21st. Richard Hirons is now above Louisa. Gareth has leap-frogged Louisa, Richard Lawson and Jon. Geoff is now in front of Aron. Andy Dodd has overtaken Gavin, Janine (he'll love that) and Chris. Sally has eased passed Sharon, Ian and Julie. Trevor has moved above Owen and Don. Angela is in at 54th.

Ladies

Louisa looks to have secured second place with Diane Bygrave third. However, Janine, in fourth, is only one point ahead of Kate and Nicky, who are now level. Carolyn has gone above Julie for 11th. Angela is in at 15th. Sharon, Judith, Catriona and Sarah all need Langley to complete their seven. Sharon Johnstone, the Cheshire Ladies' Road Race Champion, could make the podium.

Division 2

Diane should finish third but Craig is only one point behind Jeremy. Andy has come-in at 9th. and could move-up a further place at Tony's expense. Geoff has drawn level with Jon.

Division 3

Whilst Matt is now top, victory on Saturday for either Gareth or Louisa would make them champions.  Behind Diane, Janine and Steve, Andy has moved above Kate into 7th. Sally has gone above John into 12th. Angela's late burst of races has seen her in at 18th. James Gowin need Langley to qualify.

Division 4

Simon's not yet entirely safe in second from Julie and Huma. Trevor has drawn level with Peter.

In addition to those mentioned above, Thomas, Mick and Rob Gilbert need Langley for their seven.
