I managed to squeeze in this classic 5 mile race on my work travels. The race was well organised by the famous Godiva club (home to Bill Adcocks among others) and the 5 miles involved 3 laps of the very tidy Coventry Memorial Park. We ran on nice wide tarmac paths and it was a quality field as part of the Warwickshire League. I thought that I'd run quite fast but I guess that the long up hill drags took their toll and I finished over 45s shy of Tom's V50 record.
