You may have heard of ChatGP in the news. Well this week I tried the one called RepJP to produce the race report. And it came up with this [:)] :
I thought that this race had “points tarts” written all over it. I was therefore surprised to be confronted by a sea of blue and yellow on arriving at Adelphi Mill, and reconciling myself to gaining a similar points haul to Britain’s Eurovision entry.
Leaving Adelphi Mill, the race heads up to the Kerridge Ridge. Running along the ridge the lady next to me decides to stop for a selfie. I thought that losing a place to an athlete of my calibre was risky. However, two minutes later the selfie lady breezes past. The trace then heads down the valley, over to Rainow and out to Sponds Hill before a big loop back to Bollington. We arrive at the bottom of the valley near Bollington at the 11-mile mark before a steep climb to White Nancy which was a tad inconvenient at that stage of the race. After that it was back along the ridge and down to the start.
A really tough race reflected by the times, well marshalled in beautiful countryside.
As always some really great achievements from Wilmslow runners:
Barry was third overall and won his AC. Nic was second lady and won her AC.
Category wins for: Louisa, Rob, with Graham and Jarrod second and third, and JP although no other old geezers for company.
Before I go a big shout for Nick and the coaching team who along with the individual talent of our runners are key to our success.
Apologies if I have missed anyone. Normal service will return when Ian Ashcroft finds his quill pen!

Great write up John.
Thank you Victoria.
An excellent race commentary John, with your usual witticisms!
I couldn’t even contemplate running a half marathon nowadays, so well done to you!
Thanks for the great report John. You’ve certainly warned me off it for next year!
