A busy weekend for parkrunners whilst I was away in God’s Country – again!! Thirty-one members ran at 11 events.
A first for Barry with his fastest run this year. Other soloists were: Ian running his 250th parkrun – another fastest run this year; and Steve, a first-timer at South Mcr. Richard took to the forest. Ian chose the hills and was consistent as ever with his pacing – that’s the last 3 visits having a 1 second spread across them!! GrahamD chose the quiet grassy course at Cheadle.
The breakfast Club needs a bit more than sticking plaster to get and run. Still, Chris and fellow breakfast-eer got around Burnage. Jan was there too after a 5 year absence. The J’s chose Didsbury.
Five ran at Wilmslow. Sam first. Andrew with his fastest time there for some months. Andy second on AG. Rebecca having a strange time. I could say some lady was first home – but if you don’t have your profile showing Wilmslow RC – how would one know!
Lastly 2 other busy events.
Four runners and an Ex at the Race Track. The Manchester B’s led the way. Tracy 3rd on AG. Nic not far off his PB. Alan out. So was Sue and an old member Soraya was there too!
A dozen at Alderley. Billy second runner home. Dave, Mike and Jarrod in 5-6-7th place. Dave and Jarrod – PB’s. Franky first-timer and first lady finisher. Paul and Janet PB’d. Di – just missed out. Tom and Graham – close to theirs. Markus also ran. Jan top on AG. In fact 9 of the first 11 runners on AG were Wilmslow members!!
