Hi! trying to catch up with all your running!!
Last week at 10 events we had 26 club runners. With so many club and other races recently there were few opportunities for PBs. However TrevorM achieved an AG of 82.27% and Tracy , after Buxton, 81.15%!
Furthest runner afield was MarkC, first timing at Edinburgh; did he lose himself there after his great marathon the previous week? It was the most popular event too with over 670 runners! Fewest runners were at Woodbank where KateS was first lady home completing her Enthusiast courses. Other first timers included JamesS at Forest of Dean – he was first male runner home!
Other solo runners included Angie at Marple running strongly after her recent great form in the club races; and Malcolm (5th) at his favourite Lyme Park course. JamesM ran at Newby Bridge and recorded his fastest time in over 6 months,
Bramhall saw the two Pauls battling again. PaulN finishing just 6 seconds behind his running buddy PaulG. MarkB appeared there for his first parkrun in over a year. Whilst at Sale Water we had a strong presence: RichardH and GrahamD both first timers finishing in the first 8 home; Tim and RichardL closely behind.
Nicky and Don went to Fletcher Moss – both first timers. Don stringing a good number of parkruns together this year ran his fastest for 2 years. Nicky, with a good solid run, was third highest AG overall – and would easily PB there next time.
As usual most runners were at Wilmslow. Sam first club runner home (4th); followed by Trevor, JamesE, IanS, Tracy, Colin, Laura, KateM, IanA, SueS and JohnTwoLungs! John ran his fastest for 5 months. IanA his fastest this year – and with his highest AG 70.22% since March 16. IanS also ran his fastest AG 70,62% for 2 years, coincidently also March 16!!
AG wise Trevor and Tracy were 2nd and 3rd highest behind V65-69 Margaret.
