WRC Parkrun report 9th March 2019

Hi!

There was the Trafford 10k, and the Chester one too this weekend – but 19 club runners ran at 9 Parkrun courses thus Saturday.

Chris and Carolyn made it to Didsbury. Richard must like Sale as he went back for a third time – still not as quick as his first! Ian a first timer at Woodbank – only 2 more runs for his 100th!! Amanda possibly suffering from a seven year itch ran Cheadle her first park run for 6 and a half years!

Jamie ran for the second week in a row at Wythenshawe after a 5 and a half year absence. Young Beatrice Cordingley was first lady finisher there. Her mum and dad running Chester 10k. Her mum being first lady V60 in 45:00 dead!

Trevor a year to the day since he ran Rickmansworth ran it again. Not as fast as last year but an AG of 81.14%.

Malcolm loped around Lyme and was first finisher by a minute or so. He’s now in his nineties for completed parkruns. The two P’s were at Bramhall but no close finishes between them this time. PaulN could not quite catch young Marcus a young boy from Handforth, Wilmslow and Alderley AC. Rob blitzed home first finisher with anAG of 84.90%. That will take some beating.

Wilmslow had a small number of runners this week. No ped-aton. Nicola ran strong – must be all that marathon training. Especially as she ran with Nicky to Parkrun and post run and completed 21 miles in all!! James was our first runner home in 10th. Ex-club member Paul was first. However he came 4th on the AG table behind Nicky who took it easy and still was AG Leader with an AG of 76.69%. Mark going round the courses again knocked almost 4 minutes of his January time with his fastest parkrun this year.
