Wilmslow Members Parkrun results 16^th  December 2023  

 A huge turnout this week possibly as  a result of a call for arms [and legs to do pacing at Wilmslow]!

Only four at Alderley. Mike was 4th to finish and second – behind Tom –  Janine was 4^th on AG..

The R’s were down Dorset, first timing at the Jurassic coast.  Nearer home Richard was first timing somewhere  in Brum. Andrew tried out a bit of Cockney. Graham PB’d at Crewe. Reb at Warrington.

Paul G got the better at Bramhall in the Battle de Paulos; Graham first club member home.

At the Race Track Richard came 2^nd and was top on AG. Huma PB.d by 1 second.

At Lyme, where I chose to exchange their Token 66 for my Token. The car thermometer lied. It didn’t feel like 9-10 degrees. The Outstanding sub-30 challenge will have to be put off until next year. The strong wind into ones face as  I attempted to run up the first hill. An 8 minute first K put an end to that challenge  – oh well I need a challenge for 2024.

The call to arms was responded to – 16 runners wore the pale blue pacing colours. Though not sure about number 31!!

There were 29 runners claiming Wilmslow Allegiance. Some making use of the pacers. Ian was sub-30 thanks to JP. Nicky 3^rd on AG. Luke [?] Second to finish and top AG.   Chloe and Gary new PB’s.
