Wilmslow members parkrun results 28th October 2023

The last parkrun in October on Saturday saw 42 club members run at 12 events.

TSolist om returned to Bramhall and was top AG.Other Soloists included DaveB fuirsttimed at South Mcr.  Louisa – second female runner – at Peterbrough. Qes at the Dull cfourse in London. Matt in the Yrkshire forest – 3^rd finisher. DaveB first time at South Mcr.

There was acouple of club runners doing the Conga – Nicky 80+ AG  – but 2^nd overall.

One more club runner at Didsbury.Steve first club runer home. Ian with his fastest parkrun since his injuries.

At Wythenshawe was anyone testing out the conditions before MACCL Match 2? I don’t think so. PaulG won the Battle of the Paulos with a Seasons Best [SB] Time. Mick was a first timer and was top on AG.

Onto the Race Tracks: Stretford had five club members; Richard was 3^rd to finish and 2^nd on AG; Jan had her fastest parkrun for 4 months; Vic and Gareth stretching their legs before the Sunday Macc Running Festival. I wonder where they got their name from. 😊

The Alex Track proved fast with Graham and Janet getting PBs; Huma with her 2^nd fastest time this year and third on AG.

Locally, a good number ran at alderley. James was first to finish.Richard and Mike were in the first ten finishers. Mr n Mrs C ran. Janet 2^nd on AG. In fact we hade 2^nd thrugh to 6^th on the AG table. DaveT first timed. TrevorM got round.

Just leaves WilmslowAsh was first member home in 3^rd; Lewis 5^th. Sharon second lady finisher. Rebecca Tail walker. I struggle with the reworked course and the final hill climb – but with a SB – I can’t complain.
