My tour de counties and countries now over I thought I’d just bring all reports to a close.
ThirtyOne members ran at some dozen events, Some before cross country-ing.
Alderley was busy. James first home, Matt 3rd. Mike just missed out on a top 10 place. The C’s were there. Janet back running and top AG.
An embarrassing time perhaps at Cheadle? Sharon first lady and top AG with a 25 minute leg stretch. Just 21 runners ran there.
A group hit Wilmslow. Sam first as usual. Rebecca second lady to finish. Ashley 5th. PaulN made his yearly pilgrimage. Nicky 3rd on AG, Don had a Season Best [SB].
Only a few At the racing tracks. Qes and mum, after her marathon, hit the track. Rachel first timed at the Alex. A wet South Manchester saw Nick back running sub-23. Alan with a quickie. Susan’s rehab going well with a good time. JP in support.
The hills were alive with some soloists. Kathryn at her local consistent with 29 minutes, Col early at Heaton Park stretching his legs. PaulG with a SB at Stockport
Ian getting back into his rhythm in Wales.
At Bramhall Miss Downs was first lady to finish as the D’s were celebrating an anniversary or two. Dave First Timed. Janet was saving herself for the afternoon. Sadly my training regime of Traveling, eating and drinking failed this week. Or was it the slippery surface, the Tuesday training, the Friday Gym, or the 8:30 Flu jab I had just before the run that made it a sluggish return.
