It’s holiday time and there’s too many of you running at far too many places! Plus, I ‘ve been away too. So, this is a very brief report.
A very busy Saturday for park running. 44 of you ran at 18 parkrun events.
A few solos ran at their local course. Angie; Paul. Peter back after his knee problem the other week, A few back, or on the way back: Roy improving on his previous two weeks; Janet back and running well after her op; Jan having a breakfast run at Burnage? Susan park trailing for rehab.
A number of first-timers around the country. North Manchester outings for G&V and Markus. Chloe took to the Trail. RichardL le Pomme ran at an upgrade on Southport! Tom was at Didsbury. Rachel at the Fringe. Lewis further north. James at the Bard’s home.
Three took to the hills at Lyme. PaulG improved his seasons time by 2 minutes. Don ticked the event off his parkrun list; Kathryn still chasing her PB. Janine was ambling in Cumbria. Rebecca the other side of the Pennines.
The J’s went to Didsbury. Richard paced Frankie to the best ever time. Whilst 5 made it to Stretford. Billy had a PB there.
Lots of WAGS about. Nine at Alderley. Mike first club member home. Sharon first lady home. Pete a PB as too Tracy.. Eight runners at Wilmslow. Sam second home equalling his PB time. Trevor back there after eighteen months.
Some good results. James second home. Lewis 4th home up North. Rebecca and Sharon first lady finishers.
Mrs B ran her 100th parkrun.
