Wilmslow Members Parkrun results – 2nd July 2023

A very quick update as I have been away without internet!

36 club members ran at 12 events.

Some singleton runners about. Chloe first timing at Marple.  Ian Salos first timing at Macc. I wonder if he spotted our old coach Tony?

Gareth and Victoria Saturday outing was to Cheshire Oaks? 🙂  Or maybe a parkrun nearby. The Breakfast boys at Sale water.

Series orientated events. Barry a loner at Bramhall. 4^th and top on AG. More Country Squires at the Park. Rob and Frankie first timed. Rob 3^rd. Frankie 2^nd lady and  James came 6^th

A few Freshers about. Matt and Ella first timed at Didsbury. Rebecca was second lady to finish.  More runners at South Mcr. PaulN won the battle of the Paulo’s.  Then came the Manchester Bs. Tracy 3^rd on AG. Nic a PB – 2 seconds quicker than his previous time set over a year ago. Big Al was there too.

Fast track athletes at the Alex! Qes first club member home – two more to his 100^th. Markus, first timing,  then the two Colins. Huma was the last member home – acting as tail-runner for the family? Or saving herself for a Half Marathon? No runner at Stretford   

Several tails were wagging and wiggling across the paths and through the woods around Wilmslow. again

At Alderley park. Richard first club member home. Having equalled his PB last week, Pete PB’d this week by 30 seconds! Lesley nearing her100th.

A few at Wilmslow. Pacers too! AndrewC was second. Andy top on AG. Graham pacing. Titanium man next ahead of our two ladies: Hannah and Rachel who might have been taking it easy. Considering I haven’t done any running in the last 2-3 weeks; 4 seconds off my fastest run there this year. Especially as I didn’t get past the 30-minute pacer until around meeting the on-coming tail-walker!!
