Another Sunny weekend. With Dunham mid-week. Wincle on Saturday. Wilmslow Relays on Sunday. And Colshaw on Sunday as well. Fewer Club Members were out and about than usual.
Eighteen club runners at Saturdays 11 parkrun events. But just Seventeen times. 😊
Quite a few solos about: Lewis was furthest from home at Worcester where he first-timed with a quick sub-20. At Ludlow Paul was also a top 10 finisher. Another first-timer was Markus in the Cheshire forest. Matt knocked 5 seconds of his 2016 PB! Angie on her home course had her quickest run this year there. Oliver was first timing in the cooler North East. Victoria PB’s with a sub-29 at Salford.
That just leaves the Series-ly runners where Just 3 courses were run.
At a quiet Wilmslow – just two club members ran: Rebecca taking it easy on her 299th Parkrun. And Steve also taking it easy for Colshaw. There were more WAGS out at Alderley. RichardH first club man home. Sharon first lady member to finish. Tom knocked over twenty seconds off his PB. Mark returned to run here after a 9 month absence. RichardL – saving himself for some Trout fishing?
There were some fast runners at the Alexandra race track! Mark and Billy PB’d. Then came Qes.
Then Roy – who like Alan at Dunham on Thursday – turned in a performance that warranted an explanation – if not a drugs test! Sadly, he miscounted the laps. Hence his time, at his request, has been excluded.
