Wilmslow members Parkrun results 13th May 2023

Ten points chasers journeyed to Chester to take part in the CCAA Road and WRC race series In total we had 29 runners running at 11 parkrun events.

I am just back [again] this weekend. So once more there’s just the basic results.  Feel free to add a comment about any PB, AG or other success.

The J’s chose the hills to run at in Macclesfield . Rebecca continued her pain management and recovery with her fastest Saturday ParkWalk since her marathon. Roy brokesub-30 for the first time this year!  Hopefully he is on the mend now. Billy first timed at Warrington and was 8^th out 400+ runners.

I think that leaves the WRC series and the Parkruns.

Only one squire out at Bramhall. A couple of Freshers at South Mcr. PaulG had his best time this year there an Ian returned after a 6-year absence. There was a crew of runners at the race track. No PBs but the C’s did really well.

2 WAGs at Alderley/ Andrew first home. A PB too by over 2 and a half minutes.

More WAGS at Wilmslow. Mrs B in her WRC debut had her fastest time this year. Nicky top AG

Well, that leaves points hunters out in Chester.  A road diversion got their adrenalin going beforehand. All but two who ran were first timers. The H’s who had already run it – both PB’d. Victoria ran her 200^th. Thelma and Louise [aka C and K] were required to chat up a car-jacker to get home!
