Coronation weekend continued with the RunNorthWest Alderley 10k [Bypass]
We had a number of Club runners running or pacing on a sunny morning.
Some excellent results by our runners. Including Category firsts for Di and Paul. Category second places for Graham, Andy, Tracy and Janet. And a third for Trevor.
PBs for Billy and Graham.
Ian managed to Hurt his foot/Achilles and could barely walk at the end got help from Nic and Tracy but had to ‘thumb’ a ride back to HQ!! Wishing a speedy recovery for him.

I went on to the Bypass at Welsh Row to cheer on our runners. Just managed to spot Mark running without a Wilmslow vest. Great run by Di McVey and Frances. Good to see Paul get 1st as so often he comes 2nd! Ella was in some discomfort on the return leg as she had pulled a calf muscle, so well done to her for finishing. I didn’t spot Graham or Janet Crewe and I am told that Andy was acting as a pacer for Tracy. Poor old Ian suffered with his foot. When the 57:30 pacer had gone by and I hadn’t seen Ian I knew something had gone amiss. Unheard of for him to be 5th in his age category.
