This Run North West race, an ever-popular 10K. Billed as one of the UK’s most popular and quickest 10K’s for club runners, with elites travelling from all over Europe to run this super-fast course.
A one lap course is perfect for fast times ran on scenic country roads starting and finishing in Partington near to Manchester. The route heads towards Dunham Massey before returning back towards Partington. Enough potential to start the year with a PB! So the blurb states.
Well a few club runners [11] ran this on Sunday. Or should I say 10 as Jeremy tried out a new career opportunity as a Pacer [40-minute man]
Peter was first club runner home and first in his Age Category and Claire was first Lady club runner home.
Top ten in their Age Categories: Susan, Claire and Richard.
And guess what? Sue PB’d by over a minute and a half. Claire too PB’d. Peter’s sub-31 earned him a PB also. Ian bettered his 2017 PB! Explains the smile and that RNW’s blurb must be true 🙂
