Wilmslow Members Parkrun results 12th November 2022

The Cross Country and remembrance weekend saw 16 club members running At 8 Parkrun events.

Some singletons: Paul at Bramhall 1st on his Age Category [AC]; Ian returned to York to improve his earlier 2022 time; Angie – local too- back from down under with her quickest Marple parkrun since May; PaulG didn’t improve on his 2022 Lyme Park time; and Jim flew round Didsbury on his 101^st equalling his best time there.

A quiet Alderley Park with just Mike and Oliver running – Tim helping out.

It was busier on the Formulae AlexPark Racing Track: Richard 8^th; Graham and Mrs S – first timing; Big Al and JP (he’s closing on his 300^th); Sue back again; and Roy too with his fastest parkrun since September. Graham was 2 seconds off his fastest parkrun this year.

That just leaves Wilmslow. The Striders were out in numbers pacing; as Rebecca might have done. Possibly making up for the pacing of two pacers -her time being bang in the middle of 21 and 22 minutes. AndrewC might have been pacing 24 minutes or just doing his own thing. Don, Nic and Andy were out on the course helping out. It was Hip-Hip-Hurrah for me as I used the blue shirted pacers to maintain my pace and had the encouragement of Our Marshalls out on the course. The 4^th K was a little bit of a struggle – but by keeping in front of Colin – I achieved my goal! I also pointed a couple of runners to trying Alderley Park next week as a change for them. Celebratory Bacon Roll and large Latte at Greggs! Under a fiver too! Nice Morning!
