Looking at these results, its great to see the competition is hotting up! A magnificent 7 have qualified for the Enthusiasts competition, Jarrod holds the top spot, and a cheeky 6 for the Specialists which Ian S leads.
A special mention for Ian Ashcroft, Roy Pownall, John Porteous, and Ian Smallwood who have completed all 8! I reckon they used to collect football cards as kids. Remember, times can be improved during the year, legs and spirit willing of course.

Each of the parkrun groupings count as one race the WRC Series. Complete all four in a single group to qualify for points. The league is worked out by adding your times together for all four. You can improve your position over the year by re-running parkruns as many times as you like.

I need to revisit Lyme where I was some 3 – 5 minutes slower than I have run it previously. There is certainly room for improvement at the others once my ‘ParkRun Buddy’, and target, Ian recovers fully from Covid. Work in progress!
