We’ve done this race a couple of times. It’s nice when we support a local community or charity.
This Saturday it was the Bosley Rose Queen and Fell Race.
No one satisfied the eligibility criteria for the Rose Queen but a few Club members chose their vests and gave it a go at the fell race.
A 7.5k race with a climb of 250m.
Ankle breaking uneven fields and unavoidable bog. And as one person said:
Another fab race at Bosley. They decided to alter the course to include far more rough fields to run across, and seem to have filled the ditch with silage, but at least there was an ice cream van at the end!
Three of our hillies ran on Saturday.
I couldn’t find the results – but thanks to Richard:
Pos | Runner | Time |
10 | Jarrod Homer | 38:49 |
14 | Richard Lawson | 40:27 |
15 | Mike Hill | 40:55 |
Tony Hulme always put this one in our Summer Series. A good race on what is usually a sunny day.
