On Wednesday they were able to hold the Spring 5 race again after a 2 year break. Such a shame that M56 issues prevented several runners from getting there.
But not our 3 spring chickens as Holly, Julie and Ian all ran.
Ian’s last venture at 5 miles was back in 2017 when he ran here at the Chester event. A good time and Category first place for him this time – his 2017 time was 41:04!
Julie has run this race many times. Last outing was 2019 when her time was 51 minutes, This time she beat her 2018 time by 12 seconds.

Holly’s time was actually 38:37, not 28:37, although I am sure she would have been over the moon to have run 28:37!
Ian ‘blew-up’ at 3k and had to walk/jog, hence his time is slower than he anticipated. He would have been first MV70 as well as 1st MV75 had he not ‘blown-up’.
