What a week we have just had. Storms bringing wind and rain – the occasional sleet too! It didn’t stop our members running.
Surprisingly with the weather warnings and parkrun closures we still had 21 runners complete a parkrun on Saturday. Also, more importantly, 7 of our Tough Mudders turned out to wear the shirt at the final MACCL XC race at Heaton Park later that day. A big thank you to: Frances, Nic, Peter, Barry, Matt, Jarrod and Andy.
Next day the Race Series 14 Enthusiasts went towards Nica and Tracy’s locality and completed the Watersons Hale 10; Huma and Nicky were category winners; Nick was first Wilmslow Club runner home.
Sunday also saw Mike doing a Loopy in the lakes.

In the WRC Strava League:
- On distance: PeterS pipped RichardC who was a little ahead of AndrewC.
- In time out running: It was a repeat of the timing [positions.
- But on Climbs: Mikes Loopy Lakes race placed him first; ahead of PeterS and AndrewC was third.
- Longest run was by NickJ – 32.1k with RichardH on 27k. No other runner’s run exceed 20k
