This race with a twist Commenced 10:00am. A 10k trail race with an unusual element. It started and finished near the Miners Arms. You went Out along the Middlewood Way and back along the tow path by the Macclesfield Canal.
The twist:
Predict your 10km time, enter the race and then run the route naked (…that just means run without any timing devices, clothing is NOT optional).
The person with their actual time closest to their predicted time wins.
Makes you wonder as the first and second home, were local runners, had such accuracy!! The differences in seconds of the first 5 runners: 0,1,1,2 and 2!!!
Also it makes you wonder whether the last one home understood the rules?!
We had 4 runners competing.
