With XC on at Kenworthy Woods later, only 11 members ran at 7 events. In Manchester, perhaps the draw of some Xmas shopping or even a visit to the Xmas Market might have been the attraction. At Salford, Jan ran her first parkrun for over 18 months first-timing along with Chris. Roy turned up and was first in his category as well as PB’ing by 9 seconds.
Alan appears addicted to Alexandra Park. His 9th visit since August saw a steady run from him. GrahamD tried the mini version of XC at Macclesfield where he first timed. Oliver took to the less muddy hills, but a very busy, at Heaton Park; returning after a 2 year absence he PB’d by almost a minute.
Don ran with Nicky at Congleton. It was his fastest there since 2016. Fastest AG of the Day was by Nicky [85.57%], and also in her category, just 2 seconds off her last time. Continuing with AG, Rob was fastest in AG and his Age category at Bramhall; PaulG again won the bragging rights over PaulN.
At Wilmslow, AndrewC finished second; Di-B first lady finisher; Trevor stretched his legs and Nic ran 24 minutes again for the 5th successive run.
