Parkrun results Wilmslow members 6th November 2021

At Bramhall Rob returned from the hills and did his consistent time. Top AG as usual with 84.89%.. Daughter Juliet was lady finisher. PaulG achieved his second fastest time there this year and he had the pleasure of finishing before his nemesis PaulN. It’s only 3 more parkruns until Paul hits that magic 500 milestone. Roy had a first outing here for 20 months and it is a tough course to get under 30 minutes. But the big 500 of the day was by Graham and his missus  Jan. Graham paced her round to her fastest time this year.. It was his 200^th parkrun – BUT it was Jan’s 300^th! Congratulations to both of them.

Janine wasn’t helping/running at Bramhall. Instead, Janine first timed in Middlesbrough – third lady home with her fastest time since last run pre-Covid. Other single runners include: Richard returning to Woodbank and hills after a 3 year absence; Andrew who finished before the Storm at a very busy Stretford with an AG of 84.25%. It was his fastest time for many years.

Alexandra Park saw Alan and John run there. Also, like Alan returning for a second week on the Trot, was Soraya. Both Alan and Soraya PB’d.

My attempt at drumming up some support and XC practice at Cheadle failed. We did have 3 members who ran there. Andrew finished 4th, Sharon -first lady finisher – and Oliver all ran. It’s their 250th event next week. Pity it’s XC at Sherdley Park.

At Congleton they hosted their 400^th  Parkrun. Nicky and time were top 2 on AG Nicky 85.69%. Tim 83.57%. Tim who PB’d last time here. PB’d again by 6 seconds. Don with his fastest time this year and fastest time there since 2017. Chris 2^nd in his category.

That just leaves Wilmslow.

Jim first member home. Finished second. Di finished first lady. Not the usual Di. Big Al was running. At his consistent 20 minutes pace. But, Di Bygrave. Back at Wilmslow after nearly 2 years. Had her fastest time since 2019.

Rebecca was pacing 23 minutes whilst Richard was  taking it easy before the Tatton Half Marathon pacing 24 minutes and Gareth was back for his monthly parkrun, keeping him company.

Mike’s time was consistent with his last time. He is now 3 parkruns short of 200. Ex Member Jill back in the area.

Busiest:  Stretford [489]; Quietest: Cheadle [33].
