Another race on the 11th – This one organised by Goyt Valley Striders timed by Crazy Legs- possibly one of Trevor’s favourites? Perhaps prep for the bypass?
Eccles Pike is an isolated hill three miles to the west of Chapel en le Frith in the Derbyshire Peak District.
This is one of the oldest fell races in the country with a history going back over 100 years. It is renowned for being short, tough and demanding.
Distance of 3.4 miles with 1001 feet of climb.
Well done Trevor. The legs still have it. I wonder if you quenched your ‘thirst’ afterwards in the Navigation afterwards?
