A few of you managed runs along various coastlines; and in various countries.
Some outdoor swims in open water and warm seas. Most diverse was Katy’s SUP -ing in the London Docks.
The Sizzle series concluded with a ‘sizzle raiser’ to fund St Ann’s hospice – see the earlier reports for more details.
Same night Trevor ran the Eccles Pike Fell race. Another ‘Old Man’ ran his race in the Lakes. Both first in their categories.
Saturday saw PB’s and record breakers galore at the parkruns.
In the Strava League. We had the tightest finish ever. Richard and Peter tied on 99k. Dan was less than 3k behind them. The same first two on time with a quarter of an hour being the difference. Jill was third – well done. Rob was unusually third on ascent. With Brian, first, topping Markus by almost a kilometre!!
Markus with 32.4k had the longest run, a mile ahead of RichardH. Third was Jill with 28.9k. Other 20k+ runners were: Dan, Brian, RichardC, PaulG, James and PaulN
