Bury hanging on by thread! It would be such an upset if we’d been able to get a few more runners out.
At 7:40AM status was:
Wilmslow had more times lodged 76 v 72.
But with 17 of the first 20 runners from Bury.
The points total of 5,581 v 5,425 gives Bury a lead of 156 points.
We are just short by two 20-minute runners!! Or 3 24-minute runners! So close.
If I could hobble round this morning that would reduce the lead by up to 19 points!
We have some fantastic running by spouse, partners and children. Especially having a 7 and half pregnant runner produce the run of the round. Unfortunately Crazylegs said we can’t lodge two scores as the other runner is under age!!
So calling out anyone or family not injured, plus missing children, spouses. You have until 12 noon to lodge a time and produce the cup upset of round 3.
