One of the sadder impacts on lockdown for us has been that we can’t run our annual Christmas charity race as a physical race this year. This event usually brings in a healthy donation for our chosen charity of the year, so we’ve decided to run it as a virtual event this year.

It is a race with a difference in that it’s a naked race. Runners run without a watch over 10km and try to get as close as they can to their predicted time.  It would be ideal for club runs over the Christmas period and we’d be very grateful if you would spread the word to your groups.  There are more details on the entry page here

It’s still naked and you still run 10k but this time it’s virtual.
Predict your 10km time. plot a 10km route, then run it ‘naked’ – no timing devices!
If you use a phone to record your route, put it where you’re not tempted to look at it, or ask a friend to time you.
The person with an actual time closest to to their predicted time wins.
Entries are open from now until 19:00, Saturday 2nd January.
You must run and submit your actual times between Boxing Day 2020 to 7p.m. on January 3rd 2021
Entry is by donation: £8.00 (including processing fees)
Minimum Age – 15
Under 18’s will require an adult to complete their entry form

There are no refunds or deferrals for this event – your entry ‘fee’ is considered a donation.
