Here’s the updates from the only 2 responses received. I just wish I was injury free just like virtually everyone 😊
Bill.
I hope all is good with you. My cancelled MRI scan was eventually rearranged and has been done. I’m now waiting to see the specialist to fully find out the source of my issues.
I’m still able to shuffle about but I’ve just got to manage it on a daily basis.
Overall from where I was this time last year, things have improved but then I have done vast amounts of exercises.
Best wishes to all,
Bill.
Hipperty Hopperty:
Well it’s nearly 5 weeks since my hip injection was done. Pain has mostly gone away. Feel better walking and jogging [a word I use when moving faster than a walk!!]. Into Week 3 of the NHS Couch to 5 potato plan! Ached quite badly after the first of these this week. Spoke with the consultant Monday. Happy to ignore me – now pain has receded and will check again in 4 months. No advice as to why I can’t stop hobbling!! New hip as a last resort.
And so ends the injury update for November. Then again .. rumours and grapevines humming ..
Tracy: First run [Thursday] in a few days after pulling a muscle behind my shoulder blade feels uncomfortable to breathe and run not helpful!
Jan: Got Nobb’led playing a mixture of Pick the Poo and Road Chicken and has hurt her back! Poo can be so heavy!
Kate: Back trouble too! It must be catching!
AndyC: Sore calf. resting it for a few days 🙂
Roy: Still troubled with his ankle?
Hi Patrick,
Apologies for not replying to your request for injury updates. I have now seen Wayne Fish 4 times and while the achilles has improved the ankle is still troublesome. I have a telephone consultation next Monday with the Doctor and then possibly an x-ray to see if there is wear and tear. Hopefully not. Roy
