I’m getting behind in everything. Only one other person injured!? Well that will be a quick report to do! Now onto last week. What did I spot?
Naturalist Rob has caught up with wildlife in the local hills. This week’s sightings included: a kingfisher, great crested grebe, goosanders, tufted ducks, a cormorant and a buzzard. He’s been diggling about too. Had time too, to ensure Andrew did the Festive 10k challenge!
Tracy spent her birthday up Tegg’s Nose. I hope she remembered he hand sanitiser!! Rep’ing in Dunham and having her battery fail whilst out! Luckily it wasn’t the car’s!! Mike local preferred a local 5 miler.
Rehab Jarrod has biked and swum thus week with the odd run. PeterS is back too. Though his 5k left him amazed at his 9 minutes milling and aches too. IanR does fewer runs – but pushes himself with a 10k most weeks and ensures a family run occurs.
Some of you like Reps: Mike likes the 2m Summerfield Circuit.
Many enrol for loads of Strava monthly challenges – I wish I could opt out to receive those!!
Laura has biked and run in all weather. She likes her Bevvies best; but can still scream people by screaming at them as she rides past!!
Mick does his usual mix: 5 miles, 10k, half marathon and time also to put a long stint on the bike.
WRC Strava League was back to normal. Hipperty had to cut back with rest days and reduced mileage. Who said Couch to 5 potatoes was easy!! So back to normal; Rob led on all 3 categories; Dan was second on two missing out on climbs to Brian – well Oxford is a little flat!! Brian was also third on time. Other 3rd paces were Graham on time and Jez on Climbs. Well lets see if I can make week 3 NHS plan this week. But looking at the weather it probably won’t happen.
5ks: GrahamD likes Dean Row; Laura the nice big path by the airport; IanA the Wilmslow Park; a lot do the Smokehouse 5.
