Well lock-down II has started. Choose your Buddy and/or your music to run with!
Last weeks training sessions went well. Now we are on our own for the next 4 weeks.
Tracy did a Remembrance run Sunday. She also had quite a few activities in the parks with reps and hill climbs too.
A lot of you were out on Sunday with a number of long runs being completed. Not far behind him PaulG ran a similar route whilst Craig chose the airport to circle around.
Jules hit Lyme park twice this weekend. Huma is out and about this week keeping Qes fit. IanR made training and a lone 10k run. Damian made training and managed to chase himself a few times this week.
Rob back to local runs still managed a menagerie of wildlife: Cattle, llamas, Jays, coots and gulls. No longer the Old Man of Conniston he’s now more M&M – the misty mountain hill man.
GrahamD has been hitting the miles – one was 28k! Jez has been multi-sporting too.
Mike was cross training: running, Gym’ing and Hiking. Jarrod did loads of Elliptigo-ing with a swim and a run. Matt has been out a few times, Biking and hitting the treadmill when it gets dark. KatyG mixed it up as well: biking, rowing and running!
RichardH has been mixing it with routes, distances and walking. Hit the darkside this week with tarmac running post 17:30. Laura has been mainly biking and swimming but manages to hit training too. RichardC back after his stitch is rep’ing locally and trying the cross training too. RichardL likes the occasional early start with his 5k runs.
Elspeth got to the last group 3/4/5 training session. Rebecca has been walking and running and training her clients before lock-down, A 10 miler today and no doubt fitness zooms soon. 😊
Markus has been out with the billies before lock-down. Dan is still running around Oxford. AndrewC is getting local runs in too. GrahamS has braved the cold, hit his 40th virtual parkrun with hos own take on Bramhall Park. Robin has put some 10k runs in locally.
Jan made training again this week. Did a lot of biking and swimming. But still managed a 10k.
Mick has had a long bike ride as well as his usual running. MarkB had his first run since injury.
