This week’s out and about saw Chris took to taking young ladies [Carolyn & Sharon] for a quick tour shower around Rudyard Lake.
Training this week saw Groups 3/4/5 turn up in numbers at Carnival Fields. The relays got heated with the final event – the Relays. An extract of the article about that is on Thursday’s post! Group2 chose the tip nature reserve for their reps. or did Group2 go to the Airport Bollin Tunnels to do their reps. Matt had to duck out with knee pain. Jarrod made training. His recovery must be getting better by the week. Laura still into rehab with Colin. Continuing with 4 min reps with 1 minute recovery walks when she is not modelling sportswear.
Jan is doing more running with her recovery work. Straight lines and pushing her mileage up from 5k to 5 mile runs. And doing some speed work too.
Tracy managed a 15k run trying to escape from the confines of Altrincham on hubby’s birthday. Several long walks and a 10k Middlewood Way saw her clock 100k this month.
Robin is doing some midnight running – or needs to reset his watch!! Jez has a watch that everyone would like to borrow as he smashed 10k in 33 minutes!!
Julie chose Lyme park to do her I’m Dancing in the Rain number. Graham continues with his virtual park run 5ks. GrahamD was back running locally – beating the quarantine sanction by a week!
Rob has gone further north and coastal this week with just a few types of wildlife spotted: Oystercatchers, gannets and seals whilst he chased goats and horses shoes around the Isle of Arran. He likes trawling the coast looking for salvage.
Tim’s staycation means he can run, swim and cycle with anyone anyplace: He’s been Weavering down the valleys and finishing off with Richard’s 5k course too! Dan and RichardC have put in some long runs.
Current WRC Strava league shows Dan a little ahead of Markus who is just pipping Richard. That may change after today.
Enjoy your running.
