This week. Good weather in abundance. Thursday run – the Langley 7 was attended by a number of our runners!!
I have seen some of you getting up and out early to beat the sun and high temperature.
Rob, for a change went north east to Northumberland after travelling south this week in search of wildlife: St. Abbs, Alnwick and Leamington Spa; to find: grey seals, Kittiwakes, shags, Herons, sparrow hawks, dunlins and oystercatchers. Mick chose Holy Island to run. RichardH preferred to get lost in Cornwall.
GrahamD was still running in Croatia. The BeeGees family chose running and swimming in the warm Mediterranean sun. Other ladies chose nice sunny places to run!
GrahamS mixed running and gym work. Rebecca has been practicing parkruns at Woodbank. Julie made reps and completed a warm run in Lyme Park. Jarrod swimming and biking – and managed 11k run too
Poorly Tracy has managed a few walks. And then managed a run! Now she is feeling better and wanting to join NASA – has started her Race to the Moon. Not sure of her projected landing date. But off the top of my head 2000 miles a month should take her 10 years!! Laura has been back doing recovery reps this week with walking recoveries. Matt chose biking and running. Jan has been out running, biking and swimming to get over her injury.
Dan left Leeds and has been running locally this week.
AndrewC has been bobbing about the local paths and parks. PeterS has managed 100k this August already.
WRC Strava league. Closes tonight. Peter currently ahead of Richard and Graham – but it’s close.
