Well with so much happening last week hadn’t time to follow your activities. Couldn’t track the wildlife enthusiasts. I also missed an upset the WRC Strava League. Young Dan did a 1-2-3 on Distance, Time and Climb! Rob was first on Time and Climbs. PeterS had second on distance and 3rd on time. Jeremy was second on climbs.
Lots of you did the virtual 5k. Some of your children had fantastic times! The total number who ran across the competition was nearly 1400 click below on the link if you want to see how you fared. Overall we had 6 cat-1 positions, 3 cat-2 and Cat-3. So well done to RichardC [6th Overall], DiMcV, Tom, Tracy and Mick; Tim, PaulN and Nicky; And to Rob, Louisa and IanA!!
As promised
Core Riddle. We were checking that you have been taking in all the information we have been publishing to help you get fitter and better prepared for running.
And you should be able to fill in the missing words by now…
‘A strong trunk (or core) gives you the strength to hold a good xxxxxxx, which keeps your lower limbs biomechanically efficient, resulting in less risk of xxxxxx.
And stretching helps to realign your xxxxxxxx, keeping your soft tissues at the right xxxxxx and tension’.
Well the Answer the answer is:
Posture, injury, skeleton and length
Hope you all got that. 🙂
