Well Christmas day morning is no longer time to lounge around the tree and breakfast food table.
Wilmlslow Parkrun was full of celebrations. A record 520 runners turned out. It was also the 250th. And It was also the 100th park runs for some runners including Laura! I assume the prosecco flowed and there was enough cake for all. AndyW saved himself and helped Marshall.
DiMcV was first lady finisher (again!) with a fast finishing time and an AG of 81.48%.
Some visitors included the Bramhall contingent: Mark with his fastest time here this year, PaulN slightly slower than his previous visit last Christmas. He was pipped by GrahamD who was pipped by Rebecca. RichardLa visited too.
The Johnstones chose not to travel and Sharon was just pipped by MikeH Whilst RichardHa pipped TrevorM and AndrewC in another tight grouping. Trevor had his usual 80%+ AG – 80.58%.
JamesE paced his son Joe around – or was it the other way!
Oliver ran a quick race and ColinC chose to leave Laura behind on her 100th.
ChrisC forgave the breakfast club and joined the League of gentlemen: Led by JohnP, then Chris, IanA and Roy.
Nicky was also saving herself for the handicap, and paced her youngest sister Liz and daughter Victoria around. Nicky has now done 98 parkruns – another cake and prosecco event soon? !!
You don’t get collated results by club for midweek races but I have extracted what I can and in no particular order and detail:
And apologies if other Christmas events had our club running.

Thanks for another great report Patrick. I had hoped to repeat my success of the 14th December when I managed to beat Ian. However, he started with more intent this time and I couldn’t close the gap. I have got consistently nearer to him over the latter part of the year so I am hoping for a few more victories in 2020!
