No Parkrun milestones this month, and as summer holidays are distant memories as we head into autumn, the prize for most exotic parkrun goes to Tim Billington with his welsh parkrun at Llanerchaeron (20 miles south of Aberystwyth). Our most dedicated parkrunner this month must be Paul Norris, who rather than worrying about his ‘father of the bride’ speech had a pre-wedding run at Hackworth parkrun prior to his daughter’s wedding. Nothing gets in the way of a parkrun!
Notable runs include PBs for two of our new members Andrew Cleal (running two sub 19 min PBs) and Tracy Bown (running two sub 22 min PBs). Upon joining the club, it is always great to see training paying off with numerous PBs, however longevity at the club can also be rewarded as we saw Jim Pendrill (with many years of membership) run a Course PB at Wilmslow of 18.13 on Saturday 22nd Sept.
Happy October parkrunning.
Elspeth
Hi Elspeth
Thanks for the great report. Please can my Enhusiast total be updated. I mentioned it on the report from August, I think my last Burnage time was not included.
Combined time should read 1:16:23
Burnage 19:30;Sale Water 19:00; Stretford 18:42; Wythy 19:11
Cheers
James
PS Good choice of Parkruns, would be good to add some different ones next year.
Not sure my Bramhall run from last week has been updated, might be wrong
Additional, if the Parkruns are a separate competition next year then I suggest that the scoring could be based on the average Age grade % across the Parkruns. This would be a good leveller and perhaps close the gap across the participants.
Cheers
Hi James, I’ve passed your feedback on, interesting idea thanks
Great reporting Elspeth thanks
