The rugby club needs to increase their electrical supply to accommodate the new gymnasium, on top of the recent floodlights. They are in dispute with the utilities provider as to exactly how much – the bigger the new supply the greater the costs. The stalemate has meant no progress since the changing room dry rot remedial work was first mooted last November. I spoke with the committee member charged with resolving the issue and the rugby club have now appointed a consultant to advise them on the capacity needed. In carrying out the exercise the consultant has been asked to also provide a report on the state of the electrics in the existing buildings as there are concerns some of it could be of poor standard.
Once the report has been issued I will update the club again.
Simon.
